*** Galley Gourmet Charter Agreement ***

Greetings from Kodiak, Alaska! We look forward to showing you the best of Kodiak Island.

Making a reservation
At the time of making a reservation, we require a deposit of 50 percent of the total charter cost, with the remaining balance due 60 days prior to the charter date. The balance will be due 60 days prior to the charter date. Reservations made within 60 days of the charter date must be paid in full at the time of reservation. (See refund policy below.)

Your deposit and a signed copy of this Charter Agreement will confirm your reservation. Print out the agreement, sign it, and return via post or email (please type "charter agreement" in the subject line).

This Charter Agreement is a written acknowledgment of Galley Gourmet’s refund and cancellation policies. Failure to pay final balance by the due date will result in the cancellation of your reservation and no refund will be given.

Payment
Payment (in U.S. funds) can be made by check, money order or credit card (VISA or MasterCard). Please make checks payable to Carotte, Inc. and mail to:

Cancellation Policy
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your reservation, we require written notice of cancellation via certified mail. On the other hand, your plans may unexpectedly change or shift. In that case, like the airlines, we will do our part to accommodate changes in your itinerary: Thus, if we have an opening for another set of dates, we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Refund Policy
If we receive cancellation notice 61 or more days prior to departure date, 90 percent of total charter cost will be refunded.

If we receive cancellation notice 31-60 days prior to departure date, 50 percent of total charter cost will be refunded.

If we receive cancellation 15-30 days prior to departure date, 25 percent of total charter cost will be refunded.

If your charter is canceled or length reduced due to mechanical breakdown, we will refund the amount paid to us on a prorated basis.

About Access
There is no handicapped access to the M/V Sea Breeze. Guests must be capable of climbing several steps and getting in and out of an auxiliary skiff (dinghy) for ship to shore excursions.

Insurance
We recommend that all guests carry Trip Cancellation Insurance, Trip Interruption Insurance and Medical Insurance. These insurance types safeguard you against unforeseen mishaps that can occur before or during your vacation with us. Contact your travel agent for assistance in acquiring travel insurance.
